Old George Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Hi all. I have to fit new heated door mirrors due to yellowing. Passenger side no problem, only two connections for the heater element. The original on the driver's side has those but there's also a black connector block with two wires that connect to a metal piece round the rim. Can anyone tell me what that is all about please? The replacement I bought doesn't have that. Do I have the wrong item? Quote
Vauxhall Owners Club Posted January 28 Posted January 28 That will more than likely be the heated mirror element which your replacement probably doesn't have Quote
Old George Posted Wednesday at 03:30 PM Author Posted Wednesday at 03:30 PM Thanks for the reply but it's not that. I've since realised it's for the auto-dimming facility. New replacements are no longer available, obsolete. I might be able to find one from a scrappie but it's hard to identify and most trim levels don't have auto-dimming. More likely I'll have to do without. Quote
