Conundrum

Vauxhall combo 1.3 cdti. Every so often the engine misses, loses power, won't accelerate. If I dip the clutch and rev it, it doesn't rev past 2000rpm. I pull over, switch it off, restart and we're away. Had new turbo, egr and diesel pump. No smoke or fuel smell. Thoughts?

Definitely sounds like turbo vairable vanes are gummed up with carbon

Try cleaning the turbo with this stuff and see if that makes a difference
