Hello guys, i know to many of you this might be a boring and sad topic but i am looking for some tips on how to get more miles out of my car.

I have a 2004 1.3cdti corsa sxi which are meant to be pretty good on fuel (70+ mpg on a run), i do the same drive back and fore work each day which consists on mainly duel carridgways and motoways, i average 55-60mph but i seem to be using the same amount of fuel i did when i had my old car (1.25 ford fiesta Y reg) which was not very good on fuel. I was under the impression that my corsa should be by far better on fuel than my old fiesta, i drive at the same speeds, i do not race and am a careful driver so where am i going wrong? the car as been serviced regually and as just had the oil, oil filter and air filter changed.

Any help would be greatfully apretiated thank you :)
